At the end of year 2020, LLC “KZ “ENERGETIK” produced coil packages of convective boiler superheater TGME-464 for Kharkiv combined heat and power plant №5.

Kharkiv combined heat and power plant №5 is one of the most powerful in Ukraine. It is located near the village Podvorki in Dergachevsky district in Kharkiv region, and rovides electric and thermal energy to household, industrial and budget consumers of the city of Kharkiv and adjacent villages.

Kharkiv combined heat and power plant №5 is capable of carrying electrical load of up to 540 MW and covering heat load of up to 1420 Gcal/hour.

For the manufacture of coils, we used the pipe made of heat-resistant steel 12X1MF Ø36х6mm. In general, the project was interesting in terms of solving various technological and production problems. For this project, the bending equipment was designed and manufactured, assembly-welding stands, removable plugs, were specially made for this order, for hydraulic pressure testing 19,0 MPa and special chordal finders for ultrasonography.

Butt welding was carried out by qualified welders with a non-consumable electrode manual argon arc welding, ultrasonic testing of the joints of the coils was used in the amount of 100%, steeloscopy of welded seams. As a result of well-coordinated work of enterprise team, availability of qualified engineering personnel, control specialists, workers, application of modern solutions, responsible attitude to the manufacture of products, made it possible to fulfill the elements of the superheater in compliance with necessary quality requirements.

The coil packages of convective boiler superheater TGME-464 passed strict entrance control on Kharkiv combined heat and power plant №5 without claims to the manufacturer LLC “KZ “ENERGETIK”. Today, the packages are mounted in the boiler and successfully perform their function, bringing light and heat to the people’s homes.
